19th century table settings in France would not be complete without the classic wicker baguette basket! Crafted in Provence circa 1890, these bread baskets are handwoven with wicker. Beautifully constructed, in excellent condition with a lovely warm patina. We love these French baguette baskets—extra long, narrow and perfect for not only bread, but cutlery, linens, fruit or added to the prettiest tablescape. For bread, to hang on the wall or serve a luscious long table with an abundance of French cheese, grapes overflowing…you get the drift! Quality woven craftsmanship and a legacy of long lunches and fresh bread are beautifully preserved. Bon appetit!
