Antique French Basket

• antique circa 1890
• made of willow
• found in the French countryside
• Basket 1: Approximately 6" high x 11" wide x 15" deep
• Basket 2: Approximately 7" high x 12" wide x 16" deep

Practical but elegant. This basket was originally intended to store bread, produce or linen in a pantry - the open sides allowed airflow that is important for food storage.

Style it as intended as a pantry basket, to serve bread when entertaining (lined with a cloth). Or use it as a decorative piece in a bookshelf or mud room or in a bathroom with folded towels.
