Tomte - Large Red Hat/Grey Beard

This is the classic Beard Santa and the symbol and start for Åsa's Santa's Bod. Designed by Åsa Götander in the early 90s and still one of the best-selling products - 30 cm tall

Tomtes (or gnomes) are a traditional character from Nordic countries. Naturally mischievous, the tradition is to leave treats out for them to prevent little Tomtes from getting into too much trouble.

Asas Tomtebod handcrafts every Tomte. Sourcing the finest wool and sheepskin from the Island of Gotland in Sweden and Iceland, their traditional Tomte are authentically handcrafted in Scandinavia. Each Tomte is unique.
